Bank Iowa Kicks Off Internship Program

We are pleased to have welcomed 9 interns at 6 Bank Iowa communities this summer. Our internship program offers an accelerated learning experience for our interns to develop new skills while working in our communities. Each intern has been assigned a mentor to help guide their experience and support their learning objectives.  

On June 1, our interns and their mentor attended an orientation event at BIC where they met members of SLT and participated in a CliftonStrengths Discovery workshop. Throughout the summer our interns will learn how we deliver upon our 5 Focus Pillars through our Bank Iowa Business Acumen training series. Later this month, our interns will participate in a mid-summer event including a community service project before wrapping up their internship in August.
