Winning ‘hunters’ will receive a flower arrangement just in time for the Easter holiday
The cancelation of community Easter egg hunts across the state has compelled Bank Iowa to take the fun online. Starting this Sunday, April 5, 2020, community members will be invited to participate in a digital hunt for Easter egg icons hidden throughout the Bank Iowa website. Over the course of five days, five eggs will be hidden on the site, with a new egg hidden each day.
Every day at noon, the egg will move to a new location on the site. Hunters who want a leg-up on the competition are encouraged to watch for clues on Bank Iowa’s Facebook page.
When hunters click on an egg, they will be taken to a form, which if completed, gives them a chance to win a flower arrangement from a local florist. Each person is allowed one entry per day, for a total of five possible entries throughout the hunt. The winner of the statewide contest will be chosen on April 10, 2020, and flowers will be delivered on Saturday, April 11, 2020, just in time for the Easter holiday on Sunday, April 12, 2020.
“Technology is getting so many of us through the stresses and uncertainties of the pandemic, largely because websites and social networks keep us connected and informed. Why not have a little fun with them, too,” remarked Josh Fleming, vice president of marketing for the family-owned bank. “The Easter holiday is a special time for many Iowans, so we anticipate people will welcome a little extra lightness in their days. If this virtual egg hunt brightens even a few moments for our community throughout the week, we’ll be thrilled with that outcome.”
No purchase, payment, donation, or account required to enter or win. Odds of winning dependent on number of entries. Need not be present to win. Employees of Bank Iowa, their immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household with the bank employee are not eligible to win.
