Winning ‘hunters’ will receive a flower arrangement just in time for the Easter holiday
The continued cancelation of some community Easter egg hunts across the state and continued socially distance restrictions has compelled Bank Iowa to host a second annual virtual Easter egg hunt. Starting this Saturday, March 27, 2021, community members will be invited to participate in a digital hunt for Easter egg icons hidden throughout the Bank Iowa website (bankiowa.bank). Over the course of five days, five eggs will be hidden on the site, with a new egg hidden each day.
Every day at noon, the egg will move to a new location on the site. Hunters who want a leg-up on the competition are encouraged to watch for clues on Bank Iowa’s Facebook and Instagram pages (facebook.com/BankIowaBank and Instagram.com/bankiowabanks).
When hunters click on an egg, they will be taken to a form, which if completed, gives them a chance to win a flower arrangement from a local florist. Each person is allowed one entry per day, for a total of five possible entries throughout the hunt. Seven winners of this statewide contest will be chosen on April 1, 2021, and flowers will be delivered on Saturday, April 3, 2021, just in time for the Easter holiday on Sunday, April 4, 2021.*
“Some of us are missing out on annual traditions, like community Easter Egg hunts, for the second year in a row,” remarked Josh Fleming, vice president of marketing for the family-owned bank. “While some community events are forgoing a hunt in person, we thought renewing our virtual Easter Egg hunt is an eggcelent alternative. This time of year is special time for many Iowans, so we hope this virtual egg hunt brightens even a few moments for our communities throughout the week.”
*No purchase, payment, donation, or account required to enter or win. Odds of winning dependent on number of entries. Need not be present to win. Employees of Bank Iowa, their immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household with the bank employee are not eligible to win.
