Bank Iowa Celebrates Retirement of Regional President J

Bank Iowa Regional President John McBride is set to retire from Bank Iowa on November 17, 2023. McBride has served the Shenandoah region of Iowa’s second-largest family-owned bank for more than 25 years.

“Working alongside John has been a privilege,” said Bank Iowa President/CEO Jim Plagge. “He's wholeheartedly devoted to the Shenandoah community and has been an empowering force in our team's continuous growth. Customers, employees and the community have been his top priorities, and we wish him nothing but the best in his retirement."

“I will miss my daily interactions with team members and long-standing customers,” said McBride. “I have met so many remarkable people over my 25 years with the bank. They remind me why community banking is so vital to our communities’ continued success.”

The bank will host an open house honoring McBride on Nov. 17, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Bank Iowa Shenandoah location: 701 W Sheridan Ave. Shenandoah, IA 51601.
