Bank Iowa’s Angie Frerk promoted to Humboldt Regional President

Bank Iowa announced the promotion of Angie Frerk to regional president of Bank Iowa’s Humboldt Region. Frerk succeeds David Boswell, who concluded his 27-year years with Bank Iowa in April of last year. 

 

“I have the utmost confidence in Angie’s abilities to successfully lead the Humboldt Region,” said Jim Plagge, CEO of Bank Iowa. “She has served the Humboldt community in various roles for the bank for almost 20 years and we are excited to see her flourish in this new leadership role.”

 

A 2002 graduate from University of Northern Iowa, Frerk earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate. After college, she joined the Bank Iowa team as a teller and supported the bookkeeping team. Throughout her tenure, Frerk has risen through the ranks to a consumer and residential real estate lender then later promoted to vice president-ag and commercial lender.
